Jagran News, New Delhi. The information emerging regarding the action taken by the US Army in Venezuela is extremely shocking and frightening. According to the New York Post, the US military that came to capture Nicolas Maduro had used a powerful mysterious weapon, which brought Venezuelan soldiers to their knees. His nose started bleeding and he started vomiting blood.

Even before this, China was accused of using microwave weapons against Indian soldiers during the border dispute in Ladakh in 2020, although Beijing had denied these claims.

In an interview, the guard described how US forces killed hundreds of fighters without losing a single soldier. He had never seen or heard the use of such technology before.

The guard said, “We were alert, suddenly all our radar systems went off. Then a lot of drones started appearing. We did not know what to do.” After a few moments the helicopter appeared. They were barely eight. About 20 soldiers landed. They were completely different from any enemies we had ever fought before. That was not a battle, but a massacre.

The guard said, "There were hundreds of us, but we didn't stand a chance. They were firing with such accuracy and speed that it seemed as if each soldier was firing 300 bullets a minute." Then came that weapon which makes one shudder thinking about it.

He said, "There came a time when he released something that I cannot describe in words. It was a very intense sound wave. Suddenly I felt as if my head was bursting from inside." Its effect was frightening. Everyone's nose started bleeding. Some were vomiting blood. We fell on the ground, unable to even move. After using it we were not even able to stand.”

The White House press secretary posted an eyewitness account on Twitter on Saturday. The White House did not immediately respond to a question on whether Carolyn Leavitt's sharing of the post indicated the administration was verifying the eyewitness account.

A former US intelligence source told the New York Post that the US military has had directed energy weapons for several years, which disable targets using concentrated energy such as microwaves or laser beams. However, this may be the first time it has been used by the US in combat.
