Due to severe cold and fog, the district administration has now announced holidays till December 26 in all the board schools of the district from nursery to eighth class. Earlier, the district administration had declared holiday on 22nd and 23rd December. This holiday has been further extended due to lack of relief from cold.
BSA Asha Chaudhary said that students of all boards from classes nursery to eighth will have a holiday from 24th to 26th December. All the teachers and non-teaching staff working in the school will remain present in the schools and do departmental work. Also, Christmas holiday on 25th December and Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti on 27th December has been declared.
Whereas 28th December is Sunday. In such a situation, schools will now open on 29th December. At the same time, classes from class nine to twelfth will continue to be conducted from 10 am to 3 pm as before. BSA has instructed all the headmasters to strictly follow the orders of the district administration.
