ED has started investigation by filing Enforcement Case Information Report in the Medha Scam case during the Second Civil Services Examination of JPSC.
State Bureau, Ranchi. ED has started investigation by filing Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) in the Medha Scam case during the Second Civil Services Examination of Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC).
In this case, ED will summon all the 60 named accused for questioning. It will also find out the amount of property acquired through crime. After its confirmation, the process for confiscation of the said property will be expedited.
For this, ED will collect information about the financial transactions done through the accused from the date of advertisement issued for JPSC Second Civil Services Examination till the date of appointment of successful candidates.
Information about how much legitimate income was earned and how much was spent during this period has to be collected. Information about bank statements, acquired assets etc. of that period is to be taken from all the accused.
ED is preparing for this. Soon she will summon all the accused one by one and call them for questioning.
ED is also studying the charge sheet filed by CBI
The ECIR filed by ED in this case has been done on the basis of CBI Ranchi's FIR and its charge sheet. ED has taken a copy of the charge sheet filed in the special court of CBI in Ranchi, which is being studied.
ED officials are investigating the points of money laundering from the CBI charge sheet. These points will help them in further investigation.

Who cooperated with the officials accused in JPSC merit scam? Whether there is anyone else apart from the 60 named in this racket or not, ED will find the link to all these points.
Will try to find out from the officials who pressured or cooperated with them to increase or tamper with the marks in the candidates' copies. All aspects have to be investigated, the process of which has been started by ED.
