Electrical Engineer Said Will Protect The Constitution, Privatization Will Not Be Accepted, Provincial Honor Ceremony Of Power Officers Association

State Bureau, Lucknow. In the provincial honor ceremony of Uttar Pradesh Power Officers Association on Sunday, engineers took a pledge to protect the Constitution and oppose privatization. Retired engineers were also honored on this occasion.

In the felicitation ceremony held at Field Hostel Park, Awadhesh Kumar Verma was awarded the "Urja Ratna Award" for being nominated as a member of the constitutional body Central Advisory Committee. 27 retired engineers were honored with the title of "Engineer Ratna".

Everyone was handed over body clothes and a copy of the Constitution of India. Acting President of Power Officers Association, Awadhesh Kumar Verma said that Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar had made it clear that the power sector should always remain in the public sector. Following the same path, development of electricity is possible only in the government sector. He pledged to all the engineers that privatization will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Those honored with the Engineer Ratna include RP Kane, SP Singh, Mahendra Singh, Mahesh Chandra, Nandlal, Lokesh Kumar, SK Nirmal, Ram Bujarat, JP Vimal, Prashant Singh, SC Rawat, Ravi Pratap Gupta, Rishi Taran Veer, Ashok Kumar Chandra, Vishal, CB Singh, Tulsiram, Kalan Prasad, Rajkumar, PM Prabhakar, DK Dohre, Saroj Kumar Rawat, Sushil Kumar Arya, PN Prasad, Motilal, Deep Ranjan are included.
