Extortion demand of Rs 10 crore from businessman in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi.
Digital Desk, New Delhi. In Ashoknagar, Madhya Pradesh, two businessmen have received threats in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. After this incident that happened on Wednesday, the police have registered the case and started investigating the matter.
Businessman Ankit Aggarwal told in his application to the city police station that he received a voice note on WhatsApp, in which a person named Harry Boxer, claiming to be a member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has demanded extortion of Rs 10 crore. He has threatened to kill if the money is not given.
Investigation revealed that another businessman in the city had also received a similar threat. However, the police are unaware of the second case.
