Farmer murdered in drunken state in Ghaziabad.

Jagran correspondent, Modinagar. Police on Sunday arrested two accused in the case of death of Rinku of village Rori. A case has been registered against them under the section of culpable homicide on the complaint of Rinku's father. It is alleged that the accused, under the influence of alcohol, had pushed Rinku into the drain, due to which Rinku died. The police presented both the accused in the court, from where they were sent to jail.

25 year old Rinku of Inderpal of village Rori of Kotwali area was a farmer. He had gone to the hospital with his mother Manju on the evening of 25 January. Leaving mother in the hospital, Rinku went somewhere and told her to come after some time. He did not return even till night. After some time the mobile also got switched off. The very next day the relative lodged a complaint in the police station.

Police found out the location of the mobile. In which the mobile was last seen active near the pit ground in Govindpuri. On Thursday, Rinku's body was found in a drain passing through the field. The post mortem report confirmed death by drowning. When the police investigated, it was found that Rinku was drinking alcohol with his friends in the field here. All three were standing near the drain in an intoxicated state.

During this, the accused pushed Rinku into the drain. Rinku died due to drowning in the drain. ACP Modinagar Amit Saxena said that the arrested accused are Gaurav and Sunny of Sudamapuri Colony of Modinagar. Both have been sent to jail. Further action is underway.
