The police quickly disclosed the sensational case of murder that took place in Rehti police station area of Sehore, adjacent to the capital Bhopal, and arrested the main accused within 24 hours. The ax used in the crime has also been recovered from the possession of the accused.
Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Sehore Deepak Kumar Shukla, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Sunita Rawat and SDOP Budni Ravi Sharma, the team formed under the leadership of Rehti Inspector Rajesh Kahare, in-charge of the police station, took this action.
This is how the dispute happened
Complainant Ramraj Keer, resident of village Mattagaon, had lodged a report in the police station that on December 22 at around 9 pm, his brother Dhanraj Keer (50) was attacked and killed by Manish Keer of the village along with one of his associates with an ax due to old land rivalry. The police registered the case and started investigation.
Arrest on informer's information
Considering the seriousness of the matter, a special team was formed. On the basis of information received from the informer, the police arrested the accused Manish Keer (25) from village Mattagaon on 23 December. During interrogation, the ax used in the incident was seized at the behest of the accused. The accused has been produced in the court, while one of his associates is still absconding, whose search is on.

Inspector Rajesh Kahare along with Sub Inspector Nandram Ahirwar, Sushi Pandey, Sauni Sumer Singh, Head Constable Phool Singh, Jayanarayan, Constable Deepak Sen, Yogesh Katare, Ramkumar Sharma, Akhilesh, Santosh, Vikas Nagar, Shivam, Abhishek Yadav and soldier Anokhilal Gaur played a commendable role in this action.
