Jagran correspondent, Dehradun. MLA Umesh Sharma Kau's gunner has also filed a case against the unknown in the case of assault in the room of the Director of Elementary Education in the Directorate of Education, Nanurkheda.
MLA's gunner Sudhir Bahuguna has given a statement that the MLA had arrived at around 12:30 pm to know the progress of the letter regarding naming the school after the land donors and to ask for a copy of the letter sent to the government.
It has been alleged that some people already present there suddenly started making noise. The security personnel say that during the dispute, a person picked up the mobile phone and threw it towards the MLA, which fell from his shoulder and hit an unknown person.
After this the atmosphere became more tense. It is alleged that some people instigated the crowd by raising slogans against the government and the Chief Minister and locked the MLA and security personnel in the room from outside.
According to security personnel, the situation worsened when some people threw chairs. Later, somehow the MLA was taken out safely and taken to the vehicle. It is alleged that the entire incident was planned. Raipur police station incharge Girish Negi said that a case has been registered.
