Police have registered a report against five unidentified people in the case of fire and explosion at the house of BJP's Western Uttar Pradesh Regional Vice President in DLF of Shalimar Garden police station area on the night of 11 February. A report has been registered against all of them under the Explosives Act. The BJP leader has described the incident as a well-planned conspiracy. He has said that there is a threat to his life and that of his family members. The police is investigating the case.
BJP leader Mansingh Goswami lives in DLF Colony of Shalimar area. There is a fiber shed outside his house. A fire broke out in the fiber shed under suspicious circumstances at around 12.30 pm on 11 February. There were also two explosions at the time of the incident. The walls had turned black after the fire.
Allegation of carrying out the incident as part of a well-planned conspiracy
The family saved their lives by going to the neighbors' house through the roof. Man Singh Goswami says that the fire was a well-planned conspiracy. Anti-social elements carried out the incident by throwing chemicals and bombs. He claimed that the fire was set by anti-social elements with the intention of killing him and his relatives. A day before the incident, there was a clash between some anti-social elements and his younger brother in the street itself.
He had complained to the police on the day of the incident itself. ACP Shalimar Garden Atul Kumar Singh says that a report is being registered in the matter and investigation is being done. The police team has collected samples from the spot for testing. Investigation will be done soon and further action will be taken.
