State Bureau, Jagran, Kolkata. About five lakh people will recite Geeta together on Sunday at the Brigade Parade Ground in the metropolis.
This mass Gita recitation program has been organized by an organization called Sanatan Sanskriti Sansad, whose objective is to convey the basic spirit of Sanatan Dharma and the universal messages of Gita to the common people.
It is known that last time a mass Gita recitation program was organized at the Brigade Parade Ground on December 24, 2023, in which about one lakh people participated. The event going to be held this time will be the biggest ever mass Gita recital in India.
The program will be presided over by Mahamandaleshwar Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj, while Padmabhushan Sadhvi Ritambhara will be present as the chief guest. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham and Yogaguru Baba Ramdev will also participate in the program.
