Fog In UP: Fog Increases With Cold In Bahraich, Meteorological Department Issues Orange Alert

Jagran Samvadrata, Bahraich. Along with cold, fog increased in the district on Tuesday. The whole day was covered with fog. Due to dense fog in the morning, visibility was less than 100 meters. In view of the increasing fog, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert to the district for two days. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be dense fog for the next three days. The westerly wind will increase the chill. Visibility is expected to be less than 50 meters in the morning.

After two days of bright sunshine, the weather suddenly changed on Tuesday. The morning started with dense fog. People thought that the fog would end after nine o'clock, but the Sun God was not seen throughout the day. Children going to school in the morning were seen shivering.

Atul Kumar Singh, senior meteorologist of the Zonal Meteorological Center, said that the maximum temperature of the day was 15.4 degrees Celsius, which was 10 degrees less than Monday. He said that the day temperature was 7.9 degrees below normal, due to which people felt colder.

He said that the minimum temperature was recorded at 10.6 degrees Celsius. The meteorologist said that due to the westerly wind, people felt shivering along with the cold. There will be dense fog for the next three days. After one day the district will be included in yellow alert.
