According to the information, three long distance trains were canceled on Tuesday also. However, after the change in weather, the number of train delays has reduced significantly.
According to information received from the Railways, half a dozen trains were reported to be running late by hours on Tuesday. Train number 14618 Purnia Court Jan Seva Express from Amritsar to Purnia did not run on Tuesday.
Apart from this, there is news of cancellation of train number 12527 Anand Vihar Terminal Superfast going from New Jalpaiguri to Anand Vihar Terminal. Train number 12506 North East Express from Anand Vihar Terminal to Kamakhya also remained cancelled.
Train number 15910 Avadh Assam Express from Lalgarh to Dibrugarh was delayed by seven hours 41 minutes. Train number 15532 Saharsa Jansadharan Express from Amritsar to Saharsa was delayed by two hours 55 minutes from its scheduled time.
Katihar Samastipur MEMU train ran by two hours 50 minutes, train number 15566 Vaishali Express going from New Delhi to Lalgarh was delayed by one hour 27 minutes. Train number 12505 North East Express going from Kamakhya to Anand Vihar Terminal was delayed by one hour 24 minutes from its scheduled time. Train number 63308 Samastipur Katihar MEMU is reported to be running late by one hour 20 minutes.
