Earlier, there was a plan to send him on Thursday night or Friday morning, but the air ambulance provided by Qatar could not reach Dhaka, due to which the journey had to be postponed.
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) President Khaleda has been admitted to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka since November 23. His condition remains critical. If his condition does not improve, it has been decided to send him to London for advanced treatment.

BNP general secretary Mirza Fakrul Islam Alamgir said on Friday, 'If everything goes well, it (air ambulance) can arrive tomorrow (Saturday). If madam's health remains fine for the journey and the medical board approves it, then she will fly on the 7th (Sunday).
