Virendra Kumar, Dehradun. The history of notorious gangster Vikram Sharma has come to light after his murder in broad daylight. However, even the neighbors were unaware of the exploits and reality of the notorious person who had been living in Doon for years.
The accused in more than 30 murder cases was living peacefully in a loop colony of Doon for the past several years and the neighbors were also happy with his behaviour. By hiding his identity, Vikram dodged even the Doon police for years. Now after his murder, there is panic in the police, neighbors and common citizens of Doon are also surprised to know the reality of Vikram. The tall and rich image of Vikram is still floating in the minds of the neighbours.
Vikram Sharma was living peacefully with his wife and daughter for about seven-eight years in flat number 502, located on the fifth floor of B-Block of Green View Residency of Aman Vihar, located on Sahastradhara Road of the city, but the neighbor is unaware of his notorious history. People told that Vikram was mostly busy in his work. He had to hang out only with selected people. He often greeted people on the road and behaved politely.
Vikram was involved in all the happiness and sorrows of the neighbors. Vikram, fond of exercise, used to leave for the gym every morning at eight o'clock. After returning from the gym, he used to get ready and go to his office on Nashville Road. His behavior never gave the impression that he was a notorious gangster.
He is recognized in the entire area as a stone saffron operator and property dealer. People told that Vikram was fond of expensive cars. From time to time he used to come and go to Kashipur for work, but people are not ready to believe that the person who was living among them for so long can be such a big gangster.
Family members kept distance from media
After Vikram's murder, family and relatives have distanced themselves from the media. No one is ready to say anything regarding the incident. Police reached Vikram's residence in Green View Residency at around 2 o'clock. Police officials asked the family members to submit a written complaint regarding the incident, but citing the circumstances, the family members advised them to file the complaint after consulting a lawyer. In such a situation, the police officers also returned after giving assurance to the family members.
