Recalling the sacrifice of the soldiers, PM Modi said that their indomitable courage, patriotism and dedication are a source of inspiration for every Indian.

Earlier, Vice President CP Radhakrishnan also paid humble tribute to the brave CRPF soldiers. Recalling their sacrifice, the Vice President said that it is forever recorded in Indian history and will continue to inspire the country for centuries.
He wrote, "I pay tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Pulwama terror attack. Their supreme sacrifice will always remain in the memory of the nation and will continue to inspire us to build a strong and secure India."
Terrorists carried out a deadly attack on 14 February 2019
One of the deadliest terrorist attacks targeted a CRPF convoy on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on February 14, 2019 in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, in which more than 40 soldiers were martyred.
Pulwama terror attack not only increased the tension between India and Pakistan, but also started a discussion across the world about cross-border terrorism and security in Jammu and Kashmir.
