On receiving the information, Nizampur police station reached the spot and found a room in the house on fire and the body of a 65-year-old woman was lying near the door frame of the room.
At the same time, there is a suspicion of theft in the house before the incident, regarding which the police is investigating various aspects. According to the information, smoke was seen rising from the house near Boosting Station No. 2 located in village Nangal Nunia in the morning. People nearby tried to control the fire and informed the police.
Fear of fire after theft
After this, the police reached the spot and saw that the contents of the room were scattered and a large part of it was burnt, due to which there is a possibility of fire being set after theft.
The deceased has been identified as 65-year-old Banarasi Devi, resident of village Moosanauta. It was told that she had come to Nangal Nunia to visit her relatives. The family members had gone to a wedding ceremony at night and she was alone at home.
No injury marks found on woman's body
At the same time, in the initial investigation, no external injury marks were found on the woman's body. However, the situation regarding the events of the fire and the woman's death is not clear. It is also not clear whether the fire broke out first or the woman died.

Police have taken the body into their custody and sent it to Civil Hospital Narnaul for postmortem. Officials say that the actual cause of death will be revealed only after the postmortem report and forensic investigation. At present, investigation is going on from the angle of theft, arson and suspicious death.
