Jagran correspondent, Shimla. NTA has started online application for admission to the four-year Integrated Teachers Education Program (ITAP) of B.Ed of Himachal Pradesh University. Applications for admission to this course can be made till March 10. The National Common Entrance Test for admission to the course is expected on April 17. Examination centers for the entrance examination have been set up in Hamirpur, Shimla, Una, Kangra and Baddi. Admission will be available under the merit list of NCET.
These subjects are included in the approved units
Five units of B.Ed Integrated course have been approved in the university. The approved units include BA-B.Ed Secondary, BA-B.Ed Middle, B.Sc-B.Ed Secondary, B.Sc-B.Ed Middle and B.Com-B.Ed. There are 50-50 seats in each unit. Admission will be available on 250 seats of the four-year integrated course of B.Ed in the Department of Teachers Education of the University.
Entrance exam will be computer based
The entrance test will be computer based. MCQ i.e. multiple choice questions will be asked in the test. Candidates can take admission in this course after two classes. Students who have appeared in the two class examinations in March or are pursuing graduation can also appear in the entrance examination for admission to this course. General category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1200.
M.Ed datesheet released, examinations from 27th February
On the other hand, Himachal Pradesh University has released the datesheet of M.Ed. The examinations will start from 27th February and continue till 6th March. The university administration has made the datesheet available on the website. The admission process for generic courses has started. Academic departments will implement the admission process at their own level. Apart from the Physical Education Department of the University, other departments and centers have released the admission notice. Dharamshala, the regional study center of the university, has also started the admission process in generic courses. Applications for admission must be made by February 20.
