The first commercial flight will start from Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) from Thursday i.e. today. The operation of this airport is being seen as a major change in the airspace.
15 planes will fly on the first day
It is being told that at least 15 flights will take off from this airport on the first day itself. After this the picture of new air traffic will be seen.
Inaugurated by PM Modi in 2018
Let us tell you that it was first conceived by Maharashtra's city planning agency, City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO). After that, in the year 2018, PM Modi laid the foundation stone of this airport. At the same time, in October this year, PM Modi had inaugurated this airport.
There will be less crowd at Mumbai airport
With the commencement of operations of Navi Mumbai International Airport, it is believed that the crowd of passengers at the existing Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport of Mumbai will reduce.
The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) says there will be 30 air traffic movements on the first day. This includes arrival and departure.
