Jagran correspondent, Mandi. In Jogendranagar sub-division of Mandi district, a young man was cheated in the name of sending him abroad. It is alleged that instead of sending Prince Thakur's son Pawan Kumar to Thailand, Kangra's agent sent him to Myanmar, where he was held hostage and tortured. The youth's passport and other documents were confiscated, then a demand of Rs 5 lakh was made from him. However, he was rescued safely after action by Myanmar Army.

Illegally deported to Myanmar

After returning to India, the victim youth Prince has registered a case against agent Varyam Singh resident of Harchakkian Shahupar in Jogendranagar police station. In the complaint given to the police, Prince Thakur said that Waryam Singh had told him to get a good job in Thailand, but the agent sent him to Myanmar fraudulently and illegally.

Upon reaching Myanmar, he was taken hostage and his passport and other documents were confiscated. When he protested, he was beaten and demanded to pay Rs 5 lakh to leave.

Demand for appropriate action against the agent

Prince told that he was in danger of his life, but luckily he was rescued and sent back to India during the Myanmar Army's operation to arrest people living illegally without documents.
