Samvad Sutra, Jagran Gonda. Due to fog, the operation of trains is affected, due to which passengers are facing problems. Passengers kept lying on the station platform and waiting for trains for hours.
There was dense fog on Monday morning. Due to cold, people were seen warming themselves by bonfires in front of their houses. There was less activity on the roads also. When the sun came out, people got some relief from the cold.
Senior scientist Dr. Upendranath Singh says that the weather is favorable for farming. Farmers are irrigating the crops. Railway passengers had to face difficulties in catching the delayed trains in the cold.
On the other hand, the Engineer (Railway Track) Department has increased patrolling on the track in view of the fog. Ten pairs of trackmen have been deployed on various railway routes.
