Housing built for officers in Bokaro.
Jagran correspondent, Bokaro. SAIL-BSL: A total of 24 B type houses in various residential colonies of the city will be allotted under the preferred scheme to the Deputy General Manager and above cadre officers working in Bokaro Steel Plant. For this, they will have to submit online application on BSL intranet from 27 to 29 January 2026.
After submission of applications, priority list of applicants will be prepared on the basis of their employee strength and length of service. After that, by the end of February, they will be allotted their desired accommodation. A list of vacant houses has been released by the management, by giving details of which in their application, they can get the house of their choice.
An applicant can give a list of maximum 10 vacant houses in his application, the applications of applicants giving details more than this will be considered cancelled. Those officers working in BSL who want to change their current B type house can also get another B type house by applying under the Preferred Housing Scheme.
List of vacant houses
To allot preferred accommodation to DGM, GM and CGM working in Bokaro Steel Plant, the management has released a list of total 24 B type accommodation. Of these, maximum 12 houses are in Sector 1, while the other houses are in Sector 4 and 5.
In the list of vacant houses, house number of Sector 1B - 214, 236, house number of Sector 1C - 019, 046, 051, 055, 145, 217, 218, 332, 351, 476, 747, 758, house number of Sector 4B - 1011, 1054, Sector House numbers of 4D are 5043, house numbers of Sector 5A are 1022, 3033, 3039 and house numbers of Sector 5B are 1015, 1027, 1037 and 1038. BSL officials can get the house of their choice by giving the details of these houses in their application.
