Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. The cold has started increasing slowly. The sun came out on Saturday, but the effect of melting was felt throughout the day. The sun became a little brighter in the afternoon, but the melting effect remained due to the north westerly wind. The temperature started falling as the evening approached. Meteorologist says that there will be relief due to sunshine during the day. But the cold will increase at night.
The maximum temperature recorded on Saturday was 25.0 degrees Celsius, which was 1.4 degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 9.9 degrees Celsius, which was 1.6 degrees below normal.
Local meteorologist TB Singh said that this drop in temperature can be considered a sign of changing weather. Maximum humidity was recorded at 85 percent and minimum at 38 percent. He said that snowfall has started on the mountains, the direct effect of which is visible in the plain districts.

The cold westerly wind coming from the mountains combined with the moisture is giving a feeling of melting. Due to increase in cold at night, the possibility of moderate fog in the morning has also increased. A drop in temperature may also be recorded this week.
