Government ration seized in Agra.
Jagran correspondent, Agra. There were preparations to sell millet in the open market instead of distributing it through government ration shops. SDM Sadar Sachin Rajput caught 42 bags of millet in a Max pickup near Prithvinath Gate of Shahganj. The concerned person could not show its records. A case is being registered against the accused.

SDM Sadar Sachin Rajput said that on Saturday evening at 4 pm, he received information on the phone that government ration millet was being taken in a Max pickup through Prithvinath gate. SDM sent the supply department team to the spot. When the team stopped the Max pickup and checked, they found 42 bags of millet.
Asked the driver for documents related to millet, but he could not show them. The team is filing a case against the accused driver and others under the Essential Commodities Act.
