I still remember when it was my grandmother's birthday. Uncle used to celebrate it with a special ritual at home. He used to keep grandmother's feet in a plate and wash them with water. After this he would drink water. In a way, he worshiped his mother like a goddess and gave her love and respect. When he became number one, the whole country was inspired by him. There was no superstar who was not copying him or dancing like him. Even people who did not know dancing started dancing because of him.
Apart from Vinay Anand, Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja also revealed on many occasions that he was very close to his mother and used to listen to everything she said. Sunita also said that he may be born like this as a son in every birth, but perhaps not as a husband.
Got the faith of religious faith from mother
Not only this, Govinda also mentioned on many occasions that he got the good fortune of being made to believe in religious faith by his mother. He told that he had left many films because his mother was not positive about those movies.
