Jagran correspondent, Greater Noida. Land will be allotted to the state's first semiconductor unit in Yamuna Authority area. Land will also be given to companies manufacturing solar energy and tractor equipment, for which 90 percent land has already been acquired.

Noida International Airport is ready for operation. Therefore, preparations are underway to start industrial activity rapidly in the city. For this, land is being rapidly acquired around the airport and in the industrial sector. The authority will soon allot 48 acres of land in Sector-28 to Vama Sundari, a joint venture of HCL and Foxconn, where the state's first semiconductor unit will be set up.

The company will invest ₹3706 crore in this area, which will provide approximately four thousand jobs. Apart from this, preparations are underway to allot 100 acres of land to New Holland Company in Sector-8D. This company will invest ₹5000 crore in this area. Escorts Kubota Company is also to be given 200 acres of land in Sector-10.

This company will invest ₹6000 crore in two phases. Both the companies will provide more than five thousand employment opportunities. Apart from this, preparations have also been made to allot land to a solar energy company. The process of acquiring land for these companies is almost 90 percent complete, and land will be allotted to all the companies by the new year.
