Gujarat: Car Catches Fire After Falling From Bridge In Rajkot, Three Including Two Female Teachers Burnt To Death

Digital Desk, New Delhi. A terrible accident took place in the Rajkot district of Gujarat on the morning of Friday, January 30, in which three people traveling in a car died.

The car collided with the wall of the bridge and fell down, after which the car caught fire. There were three people in this car, including two female teachers, who died in the fire.

Three people died in the accident

Police said, 'The accident happened at around 5.30 am on the Gondal-Atkot highway, when the car was going from Chhota Udaipur towards Gondal.'

Deputy Superintendent of Police Naveen Chakraborty said, 'The car hit the side wall of an 8-feet high bridge over a small river and broke the wall and fell down.'

The police officer further said, 'Immediately after the vehicle fell down, it caught fire, trapping the people inside, resulting in the death of all three passengers on the spot.'
