Jagran correspondent, Uttarkashi. After the bear, the threat of Guldar is being seen in the district. Last Friday night, a henchman was caught on camera holding a dog by its neck near the ITBP camp on Mahidanda Road.
In the video circulated in the internet media, Guldar is seen holding the neck of a dog in the middle of the road late at night. The dog struggles a lot to save its life from Guldar. But in the end the henchman drags him into the bushes.
Let us tell you that Guldar has been seen on Mahidanda road in the past too, although he did not attack any human. Now there is an atmosphere of panic among the people due to the video of dog being hunted being circulated on the internet media.
Here, Mukesh Raturi, Forest Officer of Barahat Range, said that due to being a forested area, Guldar remains active here. The department also appeals to people not to go out alone in the area late in the evening and to maintain safety.
