Building constructed at Bharat Yatra Kendra. Awakening

Aditya Raj, Gurugram. Bharat Yatra Kendra, developed in the lap of Aravalli Hills, will be developed as an eco-tourism centre. The Forest Department has issued a tender for this. All the facilities will be developed keeping in mind that the center should become a center of attraction for tourists.

By coming to the centre, tourists will be able to get information about the history of Aravali Hills, what types of wildlife are living in the area, how many types of birds are there, how many types of wildlife were living earlier, what types of vegetation are there etc. It is expected that after being developed as an eco-tourism centre, the Bharat Yatra Center will be the most attractive tourist center of the entire NCR including Delhi. Tourists connected with nature will arrive from all over the world.

Former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar, a veteran politician of the country, had traveled across the country regarding water conservation. During the journey, his stay was at Bhondsi village situated in the lap of Aravali along the Gurugram-Sohna road. The Aravalli hills of Bhondsi area have had dense greenery since the beginning.

Attracted by the greenery, Chandrashekhar established the India Travel Center in village Bhondsi during 1986-87. The Panchayat had given about five hundred and fifty acres of land for the centre. It is said that Chandrashekhar also planted thousands of saplings in the center with his own hands. This is the reason why Bhondsi area has the densest greenery.

Chandrashekhar was so attracted towards greenery that even after becoming the Prime Minister, he used to stay in Bharat Yatra Center instead of Delhi. 15 years ago the responsibility of the Center was handed over to the Forest Department. Since then there is discussion going on to develop it as an eco-tourism centre. Now the plan seems to be coming true. The tender has been issued. As soon as the tender process is completed, work will start at the ground level.

Many facilities already exist

Due to Chandrashekhar's stay at the Bharat Yatra Center during his tenure as Prime Minister, many facilities are already available. Those features need to be improved. Many buildings have been constructed. There are a total of 50 rooms in all the buildings. There are lakes and parks. There is a temple of Mata Bhuvaneshwari Devi and a cowshed inside the centre.

Along with repairing the buildings, the lake and park will be improved. 25 tented rooms will be built. In this way a total of 75 rooms will be available in the centre. To ensure that there is always water in the lake, arrangements will be made to supply treated water. A knowledge center will be built to become a center of attraction for children. More than 50 children will be able to get information about Aravali at the center simultaneously.

People come from far and wide to see the greenery of Bharat Yatra Centre. After developing it as an eco-tourism centre, it will be a center of attraction for tourists from all over the world. Doesn't require a lot of work. The facilities that are available only have to be improved. Some additional facilities will be provided. The center will be developed on PPP mode. As soon as the tender process is completed, work will start at the ground level.
