Jagran correspondent, Kanpur. Due to western disturbance, cold wind increased the cold in Kanpur on Friday morning. There was a change in the weather of Kanpur due to change in wind direction due to western disturbance. The heat had increased during the day for the last three days, but as soon as the weather took a turn on Friday, people started feeling cold since morning.
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the weather started changing in the early hours of Friday. Cold wind engulfed the entire city since morning. It was cloudy the whole day, but there was no rain in Kanpur. While there was an increase in the night temperature, the day temperature dropped due to the cold wind.
The minimum temperature on Friday was recorded at 09 degrees Celsius, which was 1.3 degrees more than Thursday. Whereas the maximum temperature was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius with a drop of 1.8 degrees. The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of rain in and around Kanpur on January 27 and 28.
Meteorologist Dr. SN Sunil Pandey said that this is the strongest western disturbance till date due to which there has been heavy snowfall and rain in the mountains. Due to this, there was rain in the western districts of Uttar Pradesh. Its effect was visible in Kanpur. Cold wind had engulfed the entire city since morning.

There was movement of clouds throughout the day and strong cold wind kept blowing. He said that there is no possibility of rain in UP after Saturday morning. He told that yellow alert has been issued in UP on 27th and 28th January, this disturbance is not strong but its effect will be seen in many districts including Kanpur.
