Jagran correspondent, Ghaziabad. A man who had come to Nainital from Ghaziabad with his girlfriend was caught red-handed by his wife, causing a huge uproar there. This incident happened at the busy Dant intersection of Nainital, where the wife arrived with her relatives and got furious after seeing the husband with his girlfriend in the car. During the commotion, the girlfriend quietly got out of the car and fled from the spot, while a heated argument took place between the husband and wife.
As soon as the information was received, the local police reached the spot and took both of them to the police station. The police pacified the matter through persuasion and advised both the parties to compromise. At present no formal complaint has been registered, but the matter is heated due to a family dispute.
The person is working as a software engineer in a reputed IT company based in Noida. His girlfriend is also a colleague in the same company and the two are said to be close for a long time. On the other hand, the young man has been married for many years and the couple also has a six-year-old son. There is a family dispute going on between the husband and wife for about five years, due to which a case is pending in the court between the two.
The wife alleges that the husband is running away from domestic responsibilities and ignoring the family in favor of his girlfriend. Locals and tourists were shocked to see such a family drama in Nainital, which is a favorite honeymoon spot for newlyweds and tourists. Dant Chauraha area is the main market near Mall Road of Nainital, where there is always hustle and bustle. The uproar caused chaos in the area for some time.
Police say compromise is preferred in such cases, especially when children are involved. This incident once again highlights the growing problems of betrayal and family discord in marital relationships.
Experts believe that closeness at the workplace often leads to such disputes, which affect not only the couple but also the future of the children. Police have advised both the parties to resolve the court case soon and reach a compromise in the interest of the family.
