Jagran correspondent, Hathras. A massive fire broke out in a cardboard factory and warehouse located in Bhagwantpur village on Wednesday morning. The fire was so huge that it took about five hours to control it and goods worth lakhs of rupees were burnt to ashes. There was chaos after seeing smoke and flames rising from inside the factory. Factory owner Tarun Sharma immediately informed the fire station.
The fire was extinguished after five hours
Fire brigade personnel reached the spot along with fire engines, but due to lack of water, it took a lot of effort to extinguish the fire. Fire brigade personnel broke the walls of the factory and reached inside to extinguish the fire. The fire could be controlled after about five hours of hard work.

During this, the entire factory premises was filled with smoke and the cardboard and other items worth lakhs of rupees kept inside were burnt to ashes. The cause of the fire is not clear yet. Police and fire brigade officials are busy investigating the matter.

The shop owner had closed the shop at night and gone to his home. Seeing a cloud of smoke suddenly rising from the shop late at night, local people informed about it. As soon as the shop owner got information about the incident, the fire brigade was informed.
