Gaurav, who runs a stall at the Adarsh Nagar intersection near Sai Temple in Kamla Nagar, planting moonglets. Awakening
Jagran correspondent, Agra. There is a food stall in front of Sai Temple in Kamla Nagar, where people are able to take care of their health while enjoying fast food. This small stall situated at Adarsh Nagar intersection belongs to Gaurav Kushwaha, a resident of Vijay Nagar Colony.
The menu here is Moradabadi style moong dal, moonglets and paneer balls in Kulhar. The taste is spicy and spicy just like fast food, but the texture and ingredients are so healthy that it is a favorite dish of those who pay attention to fitness.
Crowd of people gather in the evening
The price of one plate is only between Rs 100 to 150. People keep coming here from 5 pm to 12 midnight and it is often crowded. Gaurav tells that he already does catering work. In such a situation, the idea of bringing something delicious to the city residents was both delicious and beneficial for health. With this thought in mind, he started this stall four years ago.
Chose the idea of serving in Kulhar
Gaurav says that he chose the idea of serving moong dal in kulhar. Moong is rich in protein, light and easy to digest. Moonglets (mung beans, corn, peas, capsicum, tomatoes and other green vegetables) and paneer balls are also part of this concept. The special thing is that due to the use of Kulhar, the taste of food becomes more desi-traditional.
Preparation starts at 10 am
To make moonglets, Gaurav soaks the pulses overnight. After this, preparations start from 10 in the morning. After reaching the stall in the morning, we take out the water from the pulses, mix it with chilli and ginger and prepare a paste. In the evening it is served with sour, sweet and garlic chutney.
