Jayden Bogle scored the first goal for Leeds in the 26th minute against a steady Forest defence, running onto Ilya Gruev's superb through ball. Four minutes later, Noah Okafor made it 2–0, ending a 16-match goal drought. Dominic Calvert-Lewin made the score 3-0 after three minutes of the second half.
