Jagran correspondent, Kanpur. The bail hearing in two cases against advocate Akhilesh Dubey will be held in the High Court on Tuesday. He has been granted bail in three cases. He will be released only after getting bail in three cases.
Businessman Suresh Pal, resident of Swaroop Nagar, had alleged in the report lodged at Kidwai Nagar police station that in the year 2022, as part of a conspiracy by advocate Akhilesh Dubey, he was implicated in a false case of rape. To save them from this, extortion money of Rs 2.5 crore was collected from them. Akhilesh Dubey could not get relief from the sessions court in this case. Now the bail application has been filed in the High Court.
Similarly, on August 13, 2025, Parade resident Moinuddin had filed a case against Akhilesh Dubey and others at Gwaltoli police station for taking possession of Waqf land by making fake documents. Police Inspector Sabhajit Singh, who was the investigator in the same case, was also arrested. Advocate MK Dwivedi said that the bail hearing of Akhilesh Dubey in both these cases is to be held in the High Court on Tuesday.
Hearing on bail in robbery case on 27th
The bail hearing of Akhilesh Dubey in the robbery and assault case will be held on February 27 in the court of Additional District Judge I. Hotelier Pragya Trivedi had filed a case in Juhi police station 15 years before the court order. As alleged, she was running the hotel in partnership with Om Jaiswal. Om Jaiswal used to have disputes with Ajay Nigam every day. Due to this he had a grudge against them also.
The allegation was that due to an illegitimate demand of Rs 2 lakh, Ajay published obscene language for her. On protest, on December 6, 2010, they entered his hotel, beat him up and broke the chain. On the orders of the court, the case was filed on 20 December 2010 but the final report was filed on the same day. Akhilesh Dubey's name had come up in the advance investigation started last year in the case. On this his name was added to the case.
