Hearing On Dhar Bhojshala Will Start From Today In Indore HC, ASI Survey Report Will Be Submitted To Both The Parties.

The hearing will start from today in the Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court regarding the religious nature of the historical Bhojshala located in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. This case has been listed at serial number 62 in the division bench of Justice Vijay Kumar Shukla and Justice Alok Awasthi.

This hearing is starting on the orders of the Supreme Court given on January 22. During this time, the report of the ASI survey conducted regarding Bhojshala will be presented in the open court and its copy will be made available to both the parties.

The Supreme Court said in its order that if any part of the report cannot be opened, then both the parties can inspect it in the presence of their experts and lawyers. After this, the parties will be given two weeks to file their objections and recommendations. After this the High Court can conduct the final hearing of the case. All objections can be duly considered at the time of final hearing.

The party will keep the ASI survey as its basis.

Let us tell you that in the hearing before the Division Bench of the High Court, the petitioner Hindu Front for Justice will present his arguments in favor of Bhojshala being Vagdevi (Goddess Saraswati Temple) on the basis of ASI survey. Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain and advocate Vinay Joshi will appear on behalf of the petitioner.

The Supreme Court has made it clear that no changes will be made in the structure and form of the Bhojshala till the final decision. Its order issued by the ASI Director General on April 7, 2003 will remain in effect.

Major findings of ASI survey-

17000 remains were found. 96 idols were found. The structure of the wall was found in more than 25 feet of excavation. Idols were also recovered from the farm area behind. 106 pillars were found in all four directions. 82 pillars with wall paintings were found. 33 ancient coins were found. These coins are said to be from 10th-11th century and Parmar era.
