India's 29-year-old Honey Baisoya 72 was the most expensive player in the first auction of The League. He recently won the DP World Player Championship title at Qutub Golf Course. Honey has been added to his team by Delhi Lancers for Rs 20.5 lakh. There was fierce bidding between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Classics for Honey, who had a base price of Rs 10 lakh in the platinum category, but Capital Lancers won in the end and added Honey to their team.

Tough competition for Shubham Jaglan too

All 6 teams have shown their interest in 21-year-old Shubham Jaglan from India and want to add to their squad. Shubham's name was in the silver category and his base price was Rs 3 lakh. All 6 teams were seen bidding for him but in the end Hyderabad team Charminar Champions signed him for Rs 19 lakh. This price is 6 times more than Shubham's base price.

Karthik Singh youngest player

Karthik Singh's name was included in the silver category and his base price was Rs 3 lakh. Karthik is only 16 years old and Mumbai Aces has included him in their team by paying a huge amount of Rs 14.40 lakh. Mumbai has shown confidence in a young player and the franchise will hope that he shows his talent during the tournament.

60 year old Mukesh Kumar also bid

Franchises also showed interest in experienced golfers. 60-year-old Mukesh Kumar was picked up by Kolkata Classic for Rs 7 lakh. America's Jharred Hack was the most expensive among foreign players, who was bought by Capital Lancers for Rs 15.80 lakh.
