Digital Desk, Gwalior. Police have exposed a gang that honey-trapped a Galla businessman from Badarwas and blackmailed him in the Dehat police station area of Shivpuri district. Five members of the gang have been arrested in this case. The gang's methods were extremely vicious. First friendship, then web of love and finally recovery of huge amount by making videos.
Police investigation has revealed that the husband of the woman and his friend involved in the gang used to identify people who had good money. After this, the woman would contact him, develop friendship and try to trap him emotionally. As soon as the victim became trustworthy, he was called to meet and blackmailed by making videos as part of the entire scheme.
The trap started with a phone call
On January 26, 26-year-old Galla businessman Aditya Jain, resident of Badarwas Railway Station Road, received a call from a girl named Anjali. The conversation progressed and within a few days the two became close. On January 31, the girl expressed her desire to meet him and called him to the water tank in Barodi.

Aditya reached the spot in a rented car with driver Vinod Rathore. There the girl sat in the car and took him for a ride in the city. After a few hours, the girl called her friends, after which four youths sat in a car near Bade village. It is alleged that these people beat up Aditya.
Blackmailing done by making video
After this, the accused forcibly took Aditya in the car and took him towards Bankade Hanuman Temple, where his video was made. By threatening to make the video viral, Rs 1 lakh 5 thousand 640 were recovered from him through phone pay. After the incident, Aditya lodged a complaint with the police, on the basis of which the entire honeytrap gang was exposed.
The entire network ran from Badarwas.
According to the police, Chandrapal Singh Dhakad, resident of village Ainwara Badarwas, is the leader of this gang. He gathered information about Aditya Jain, obtained his mobile number and handed it over to Madhav Nagar resident Raja Ojha and his wife Kalpana Rajak alias Anjali. After explaining the entire planning, Kalpana trapped Aditya in her trap.
Other gang members Pawan Rawat (resident Dhakrora Khorghar, police station Sirsaud) and Vikas Rawat (resident Baraudi, Shivpuri) were also involved in carrying out the incident.
