Samvad Sutra, Jagran Baghpat. An eight-month pregnant woman was beaten to death in Dhanaura Tikri village on Saturday night. The parents have accused the in-laws of the incident. The police have taken possession of the body and started action.
Kanak alias Kamal, a resident of Parasauli of Budhana police station area of Muzaffarnagar district, was married to Dhanaura Tikri, resident of Ashish, son of Ravindra, on April 10 this year. Kanak was eight months pregnant. Ashish works in a private company in Haridwar.
Kanak's mother Rekha and brother Ravi told the police that Ashish used to beat Kanak every day. Kanak had also informed him about this many times. Late on Saturday night, Ashish beat up Kanak and killed her.
When they informed the police about this, the police reached the spot in the night itself, took Kanak's body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. The police have taken the accused Ashish into custody. The complaint was not given by the parents till late evening.

Kanak's mother Rekha told that her daughter had made a video of herself on her mobile at around 10 pm on Saturday night, in which she was standing outside the house. In the video, she was having an argument with Ashish. In the video, Kanak is saying that her husband has a relationship with a girl and when she protests, the husband beats her.

She is eight months pregnant and her life is becoming miserable. He had sent this video to them at around 10 pm. After that, Kanak was murdered at around 11 pm. As soon as she got the video, she informed the police about it. When the police reached the spot, she was found dead.
