Horrific Road Accident In Kaithal, Brother Dies Due To Collision With Pickup

Jagran correspondent, Kaithal. On Wednesday evening, a pickup driver hit a brother and sister riding a bike. In the accident, 17-year-old Raman, resident of village Kakrala Gujran, died and his cousin sister Rakhi, 18, was injured. A case has been registered in Cheeka police station on the complaint of deceased's brother Gaurav.

It was told in the complaint that his younger brother Raman was studying in class 11th. On February 4, Raman had gone to Girls College Chika to bring home Rakhi, his uncle's daughter from Ajmer. Both of them were coming home in the evening riding a motorcycle.

When they reached near the government school in Bhagal village, the pickup driver hit them while driving rashly and carelessly. Her brother died in the accident and her cousin Rakhi was injured. Passersby took both of them to Guhla Hospital.

There the doctors declared Raman dead. Rakhi is undergoing treatment in a private hospital. This accident happened due to the negligence of the driver. Investigating officer of Cheeka police station, ASI Lakhwinder Singh, said that the police have registered a case on the basis of the complaint and started investigation. Further action will be taken on the basis of investigation.
