Death in road accident. (Awakening)
Jagran correspondent, Chaibasa. A painful road accident took place on Chaibasa-Seraikela road on Monday morning. In which two people died on the spot and the condition of one person is critical.
It is being told that Raju Yadav, a member of Jamshedpur's tailor organization, was coming to Chaibasa with his driver and a mechanic. Their trailer vehicle had broken down in Chaliyama, and they were coming to repair it.
Meanwhile, a truck going from Chaibasa towards Seraikela hit a Swift Dezire car near Tholko, the border village of Seraikela Kharsawan and West Singhbhum district.
The collision between the two vehicles was so strong that the Swift Dezire car was blown to pieces. Two people died on the spot in the accident. While the condition of one person is critical. He was taken to Seraikela Sadar Hospital, from where he was referred to Jamshedpur.
Road accidents happening every day in Chaibasa and Seraikela districts have raised questions on the safety measures taken by the administration.
In West Singhbhum district, 201 people have died in road accidents in 2025. Whereas in Seraikela district, 240 people have died in road accidents in 2025.
Despite this, the administration is not taking any steps seriously. Due to which a lot of anger is being seen among the local people.
