Talking about actor Vijay, Piyush Goyal said that his entry will not have any significant impact on the assembly elections. In the words of the Union Minister, "We have seen many film stars come and go in the corridors of power."

While talking to news agency PTI, the Union Minister said, "I don't know how much impact he will be able to have on the elections. We have seen in the past also that many film stars have come and gone. Having a big fan following and converting those fans into voters are two different things."

You need organization. You need to understand people and be confident as an administrator. Earlier also we have seen many actors, like Kamal Haasan, could not make any impact in politics.

Talking about the situation of BJP in Tamil Nadu, Piyush Goyal says, "NDA has formed an alliance with AIADMK. At the same time, there is deep dissatisfaction among the people against the ruling DMK. This government is completely corrupt. At the same time, Udayanidhi Stalin (Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu) has not only spoken anti-Tamil but also anti-India things. The kind of language he uses is not a part of Tamil culture."
