Woman's husband lives separately with a son
Jagran correspondent, Moradabad. ASHA worker Pushpa Devi, resident of Muzaffarpur Tanda village of Kanth area, was shot by her husband on Wednesday morning in a land dispute. The bullet hit him in the chest. She got seriously injured due to this. Police reached on information.
Relatives took the woman to a private hospital in Moradabad. Where after the operation, the doctors have removed the bullet from the woman's stomach. On the other hand, the police have named the accused Hariom and registered an FIR against two unknown persons.
Pushpa Devi, wife of Hariom, resident of village Muzaffarpur, is an ASHA worker. There is thirty bigha land in the name of Pushpa Devi while there is two bigha land in the name of Hariom. There is a dispute going on regarding the land for the last two years. Hariom was pressurizing his wife to get the land in his name. Due to this, disputes broke out every day.
After the dispute, Hariom built a second house in the village and started living separately from his wife with his younger son Harit Kumar. Whereas Pushpa Devi lived in a separate house with her elder son Dharmendra Kumar.
Dharmendra told in the complaint letter given to the police that on Wednesday morning the father came to the house with two unknown people and, while abusing the mother, shot him with a pistol at her chest.
After the shooting, the accused fled from the spot. On receiving the information, police reached the spot. The relatives took the injured woman to a private hospital located on Kanth Road. Where the doctor performed an operation and removed the bullet stuck in the chest. Now the woman is said to be out of danger.
Inspector in-charge Sudesh Pal Singh said that on the basis of the complaint letter, an FIR has been registered against two unknown people, naming the accused Hariom. The accused is being searched.
There was a dispute going on regarding the land. Due to dispute, husband and wife lived separately. On Wednesday morning the husband along with his friends shot her. The woman is out of danger. The police have registered an FIR. Police is busy searching for the accused.
