Digital Desk, New Delhi. PM Modi addressed the MPs in the NDA parliamentary party meeting. During this, he described the tariff deal with America as a big diplomatic and economic step. The PM said that despite the criticism, the government remained patient and it is the result of patience that this historic deal was possible today.
PM Modi said that this agreement has created a very positive environment for the country. After the announcement of the tariff deal, NDA MPs also honored PM Modi in the Parliament complex today. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju called it a strategic and economic partnership of the new era.
Emphasis on Made in India
In the meeting, PM Modi stressed on the discipline of MPs and active presence in Parliament. The PM said that every MP should be present in the proceedings of the House and participate in the discussion. The PM said that it is not just the responsibility of the government, but it is also the responsibility of the MPs to strengthen the legislative process.
The PM also directed the MPs to go among the people in their areas and tell about the achievements of the budget. The PM said that it is time that the common people be told which measures in the budget will benefit their lives and the local economy.
The PM said that now India will have to strengthen its manufacturing capacity at the global level. He said that the biggest demand of the time is to increase manufacturing and produce quality products in the country. The country now has to present the quality of 'Made in India' to the world.
