State Bureau, Lucknow. A Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) delegation on Monday visited the Japanese Industrial Park of Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RICO) for setting up the proposed Japanese Industrial City in Uttar Pradesh. This park located in Neemrana is considered to be the most successful model of Japanese investment so far.
The delegation studied how to develop land allocation, zoning, infrastructure and other services to suit the needs of Japanese investors. Also took information about the special incentive policies and administrative facilities being given to Japanese investors by the Rajasthan Government.
Apart from this, the delegation also agreed to include this model of logistics needs of investors, electricity-water and smooth supply chain in the master plan of the proposed Japanese Industrial City in Uttar Pradesh.
YIDA Chief Executive Officer RK Singh said that YIDA's plan focuses on industrial cluster based development. Under this scheme, multimodal connectivity of Noida International Airport (Jewar) is being connected to industrial areas.
