Illegal mini gun factory busted in Munger.
Dialogue Associate, Munger. On Thursday, the police busted an illegal mini gun factory operating in a house located in Goshi Tola Mohalla of Qasim Bazar police station area. The action that took place in the center of the city was creating a stir. Police arrested artisan Jitendra Kumar Pandit and landlord Pankaj Kumar. During the raid, many equipment related to weapon manufacturing and semi-finished weapons were recovered, which clearly shows that the work of making illegal weapons was going on here for a long time.
During the raid, police recovered one base machine, two semi-finished pistols, 35 semi-finished magazines, six butt belts, six barrels and six triggers. Even the police officers were surprised to see the recovered items, because this entire setup was being operated in a systematic manner like a small factory. The arrested artisan Jitendra Kumar Pandit is a resident of Puraniganj of Kasim Bazar police station area. According to the police, he has a criminal history and has been involved in illegal activities in the past also.
It is feared that Jitendra Kumar may be connected to a local arms supply network. At present, he is being interrogated thoroughly, so that other people associated with this illegal business can also be traced. Actually, the police of Kasim Bazar police station had received information that an illegal mini gun factory was being operated in a three-storey house located in Ghoshi Tola.
Taking the information seriously, Police Station Head Rubikant Kachhap informed it to Superintendent of Police Syed Imran Masood. A special raid team was formed on the instructions of the SP. The team was led by Qasim Bazar Police Station Officer Rubikant Kachhap. Purbasarai police station incharge Saurabh Kumar, Kasim Bazar police station inspector Sonu Kumar, Deepak Kumar, ASI Pintu Kumar, DIU and police force were included in the team. The police team conducted a planned raid and during the search of the house, entire weapons manufacturing material was recovered from one of the rooms.

SP Syed Imran Masood told that an illegal mini gun factory was being operated in a bedroom of the three-storey house of Pankaj Sah located in Goshi Tola. It is even more serious that such a dangerous illegal business was going on in the middle of a residential area and the people nearby were not even aware of it. SP said that many important information has been received during the interrogation, on the basis of which further action is being taken.
It is also being investigated where the weapons were being supplied and who else are involved in this. Police suspect that it could be an organized gang, which was dealing in illegal weapons for a long time. Both the arrested accused have been sent to jail in judicial custody.

Police is continuously running a campaign against such anti-social elements and the action will continue in future also.
