A special campaign was launched to identify such units in various wards of the zone. After identifying the polluting units, action was taken and they were sealed.
Deputy Commissioner of Corporation Western Zone, Colonel Vinod Atri said that between February 16 and February 20, rooftops, upper floors of buildings and hidden industrial activities were monitored through drones in Khayla, Vishnu Garden, Ranhaula, Bapraula and Bindapur areas, which could not be detected during normal ground inspection. During this survey, 29 suspected illegal units were identified, which had been evading conventional inspection.
