Jagran correspondent, Dhanbad. As we move towards farewell in January, the effect of cold during the day has reduced. After the fog clears in the morning, the sunshine brings relief from the cold as the day progresses. But the effect of cold continues at night. The cold winds blowing from time to time are making the night even colder.

Fluctuations in weather may continue throughout the month. Due to the activation of Western Disturbance in the Himalayan region, there is snowfall along with thunderstorms in the mountains. Its effect is also visible in Dhanbad and surrounding areas. The icy winds coming from the Himalayas are making the night weather cold.

Due to activation of Western Disturbance in the form of low pressure, the next two days may be cloudy. Cloud cover may increase the coolness of the day. According to the Meteorological Department, a new western disturbance will again be active in the Himalayas from January 26, which will cause snowfall in the mountains. Due to western disturbance being active till 28th, the cold winds coming from the Himalayas will bring coolness to the weather.
