Last date for e-KYC verification of social security pensioners extended (file photo)
State Bureau, Shimla. The last date for e-KYC verification of social security pension beneficiaries has been extended in Himachal Pradesh. According to the order issued on 16th February, now e-KYC can be done till 28th February.
The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment has directed all District Welfare Officers and concerned Tehsil Welfare Officers to ensure e-KYC verification of all eligible beneficiaries within the stipulated time limit.
It has been clarified in the order that a separate report should be prepared for the beneficiaries who have been registered as not found during e-KYC. Written reasons should be obtained from the concerned Anganwadi workers and sent to the Tehsil/District Welfare Officers.
These reasons will be verified by the concerned Sub Divisional Officer i.e. SDM. It is mandatory to complete this entire process before 28 February 2026.
