Recently, a policeman posted at Futera outpost under Batiagarh police station of Damoh district received a fake call, in which a swindler tried to extort money by threatening him in the name of obscene video. The fraudster who made the call alleged that obscene videos have been uploaded on the Chrome browser from the policeman's mobile and a complaint about this matter has been registered with the Mumbai Crime Branch.

The thug told the policeman that this alleged crime has a provision of three years in jail and a fine of eight lakh rupees. After this, creating an atmosphere of fear, he demanded Rs 26,000 in the name of “settlement” of the case and threatened to send him to jail if the money was not paid.

Understanding the seriousness of the situation, the policeman immediately handed over the phone to post in-charge Anand Kumar. The post in-charge kept the thug engaged while talking to him. When he asked what was the way to avoid this, the fraudster asked to send Rs 26 thousand to Mumbai Cyber ​​​​Crime Branch.

Describing himself as disabled in one leg, the outpost in-charge asked the thug to come to the spot to collect the money. On this the fraudster talked about online transfer and after some time disconnected the call. The video of this entire conversation has gone viral on social media, revealing new methods of cyber fraud.
