The investigation into this sensational murder case that took place on Monday revealed that the girl and the accused knew each other for a long time, but in between the girl stopped talking to him. The accused continued chasing the girl and started threatening to kill her.
The girl had also given a complaint at Khudbuda police post. On Monday, the accused brought a chapad from home and in the midst of a crowd, attacked the girl with a chapad and killed her. After the incident, the city Kotwali police arrested the accused Akash Kumar, resident of Mannuganj Khudbuda Mohalla, and also recovered the chapapad used in the incident from him.
Lawyers surrounded and beaten
When Gunjan murder accused Akash Kumar was presented in the court, the lawyers got angry. The accused was surrounded and beaten by the lawyers in the court premises.
The police somehow saved him and took him inside. The brutal murder of the girl has angered every section of the society, and the displeasure of the lawyers has made it clear that the public is deeply hurt by the laxity of the police. The court has sent the accused to jail in judicial custody.
